Though most of my pictures are images of fantasy, I'm inspired by many artists in several different areas of art. Possibly my favorite part of creating a picture is the process of gathering inspiration and reference materials from a variety of sources, as well as the challenge of translating an idea into an actual image. I view each artwork as a great opportunity to learn something new.
Biography: For several years I've been creating imaginative images that draw inspiration from fantasy, folklore, celestial, and children's book illustration. I also find a great deal of inspiration from nature, and the various natural landscapes in my area. All these sources often result in several ideas which fill my sketchbooks and are eventually made into a completed artwork.
